A taste of Autumn with our brand-new Supper Clubs

The cooler evenings are drawing in, the temperatures are moving from pleasantly warm to cool and outside, the vibrancy of our woodland is beginning to transition from vibrant shades of green to warmer hues of dusky bronze.

Yes, the Autumn season is well underway and what a jam-packed season we have lined up!

Showcasing our events this month, is our brand-new and truly mouth watering Supper Clubs.

With new dates already selling fast, the culinary line-up includes Halloween Spooktacular on 28th October, ‘Game On’ on 25th November and a Christmas Special on 16th December. With limited seats, tickets are selling fast. More dates are available in the New Year

With beautifully British menus curated by our chef Craig, we can’t wait to get the evenings underway and once again see and hear the atmosphere come to life.

Chef Craig says: “There is something for everyone at our Supper Clubs, and I would advise people to book fast.  We are so looking forward to hosting and can’t wait to see new and familiar faces have a wonderful evening with us.”

Charity fashion show returns in style to raise vital funds

The collections are almost ready, the accessories are being finalised and the English sparkling wine is already on ice. Why? Because we’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing you The Deer Park charity fashion show and Christmas preview next month.

Being held on 4th November to raise vital funds for The Holly Trust and Staffordshire Search and Rescue, the evening promises to be truly wonderful in every way, and with a delightful ambience to boot!

Our retailers Eton Taylor and SoS Lingerie will be showcasing their Autumn/Winter collections of clothing, lingerie and accessories that move effortlessly between town and county with the most timeless of British style.

And the Gin Hare mobile bar will be available for refreshments for the whole evening and you will also get a VIP preview of some of our fabulous Christmas Market stallholders handpicked for this event.

Ticket Price at £30 includes a reception drink of prize winning English Sparkling Wine from ‘Bolney Vineyards’ and mouth-watering canapes from chef Craig’s Autumn menu.

Lesley Prince, founder of the Deer Park says: “The fashion show is going to be a great way to begin the Christmas season and with some amazing fashion lines coming up we just know that our guests will love them.

“Of course at the heart of this event is the fundraising and we are hoping that as many people as possible get behind it and come along to raise vital funds for two very important charities that are close to our hearts.”

No tricks, all the treats this Halloween!

This October, we’re excited to bring you the ultimate Halloween farm experience, with a jam-packed line up of thrills for all the family to enjoy and a few surprises along the way!

On 30th and 31st October, from 6pm until 9pm our woodland walk will mysteriously change into a very spooky and haunted ‘Trick or Treat’ Street, and from dusk until dark visitors brave enough to venture inside will have to navigate the spooky path ways as they look out for what’s behind the hidden door and the ghostly gate – do you dare?

What’s more, devilishly good food and drink will be available to purchase to take away in our wonderful restaurant The Linhay, including fiendishly good hot toddies and delicious hot chocolate, which we know won’t disappoint.

So, grab your coats, hats and scarves and get ready for a fright night on us!

On the 31st of October Nessie Monsters face painting will be at The Deer Park to add that authentic spooky glamour to your outfits.

Pop up shops

To extend our offer further and to ensure we always have something new to pique your interest we plan to host pop-up shops from some of the most wonderful independent UK designers each weekend. The aim is to champion an array of styles and tastes for our guests to enjoy. We will welcome a variety of different brands from food to wines and gifts to fashion, regardless of the type of product there will always be something to impress and catch your eye.

Traditional Christmas Market

We are delighted to announce that our traditional Christmas Market will now be taking place at The Deer Park from Friday 5th until Saturday 6th November, 2021. 

Visitors to the market can browse an extensive collection of stalls showcasing unique handmade crafts, art, home fragrance and soft furnishings, alongside fashion and a selection of handmade chocolates, cakes and pies.  

This year, the market will be supporting local charities including The Holly Trust, The Holly Prince Trust and St Giles, with entry fees, tombola and stall holder donations being donated to the causes.

A selection of refreshments including mulled wine, hot beverages, festive soups, sandwiches and sweet treats will also be on offer, promising to get you into the Christmas spirit.

The market promises to be a joyful, immersive, creative experience, all accompanied by wonderful live singing to ring in the festive season. 

Once the shopping is complete, visitors can enjoy a visit to our Farm Shop or sample the delights of our carefully prepared seasonal menus designed to tempt and tantalise in the restaursnt.

Visitors will also have full access to the beautiful rolling countryside and enjoy the glorious views that surround The Deer Park. 

Entry to the Christmas Market costs £2 per person on the door. Ample parking is available.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

We would like to say a big thank you to all those who attended our MacMillan Coffee morning. 

We raised a whopping £275. We are thrilled to have raised as much as this for such a worthy cause. 

At The Deer Park we are committed to not only serving the community but also charities close to our heart. This year, the outdoor Christmas market will be supporting local charities including The Holly Trust, The Holly Prince Trust and St Giles, with entry fees, tombola and stall holder donations being donated to these causes.

We can’t wait to let you know how much we raise over this weekend.
