Lots of cows

History

Roy Prince has been farming for over fifty years, inheriting the farm from his father and now works with his son, Charles, who currently takes care of the day-to-day farm operations alongside managing the farm shop with his wife Lesley. It is a family affair.

Today, the farm is bigger and better than ever, boasting an enviable reputation for a being a place to enjoy with family and friends of all ages. The reception is always warm and welcoming.

The Prince family’s drive and passion to succeed in achieving their vision has been uncompromising. Their aim was to create an environment for all to enjoy. They wanted to create a place where people could experience farming first hand but also enjoy a place to eat, drink, relax, shop, work, walk and have fun.

The Farm

There is great pride in selling their own beef and lamb, reared traditionally and to the very highest standards. All livestock is bred and fed outdoors, ensuring the animals are happy and healthy, and therefore producing meat of the highest grade. As well as the farm-reared grass-fed meat, they sell milk from their own dairy cows and are currently working on their own signature artisan cheeses.
